Some Important Points Regarding The Future of Western Democracies.
It's Time For Western Citizens To Make Some Difficult Decisions.
At the moment, almost every Western country that is being governed by radical leftist ideologs, is essentially failing at every turn. The populations are becoming increasingly unhappy and disenchanted with the ideological politics that are clearly tearing their countries apart, not to mention, making everyone poorer.
Not only are they getting angrier, they are also becoming more vocal about it, and in some cases they are even starting to vote these totalitarian and ideologically captured jokers out of office. In the Netherlands, Argentina, Sweden, Italy and now, possibly Belgium, voters have massively abandoned the left and voted for more, right of center, governments.
As for the rest of us, many are sick and tired of getting our rights trampled on, losing our prosperity, and consistently being lied to by the people that we voted for to represent us. We are holding out hope that enough people in our countries have woken up sufficiently, to vote our way out of leftist tyranny.
In America, the hope is of course, that Donald Trump will get a second shot at the Presidency, and it is definitely looking good, even though the tyrannical leftists are trying everything both legal and illegal, to thwart his candidacy. If the election were to be run correctly and fairly, Trump would win by an overwhelming landslide, and everyone in America knows it.
Unfortunately, I am personally quite “black pilled” about Trump getting into office again, for obvious reasons, the biggest being the fact that the left clearly rigged the last election in 2020, and almost nothing has been done to rectify that since. So, while I’m quite confident that he would win, even from prison, in a real, fair, and transparent election, I have a very hard time seeing that actually happening.
The Republicans in power have done absolutely nothing with the power that they have, most of them are bought and paid for by lobbyists, many of them are straight up cowards, and the ones that are America First, are sadly outnumbered, making them ineffective, and neutralizing any power that they might have. In short, Republicans have not rectified any of the problems with the 2020 election, and so the same shenanigans will likely repeat themselves this time.
Here in Germany, my guess is, that we are going to have to suffer quite a bit more before we get to a point that the AfD (Alternative Fur Deutschland) is going to get the votes needed to attain a majority. Anything short of that will likely hamstring the whole government apparatus, because all the other political parties outright refuse to form a coalition with them.
I get that I’m being very pessimistic, but I do understand that there is a slight possibility that the people of our respective countries are so fucking fed up, that the voting turnout will be so overwhelming, that there will be no denying the win, making it much, much, harder to cheat in America, or avoid and ignore the AfD in Germany. I do hold out a little hope for that.
That being said, no matter what happens in the upcoming elections around the Western world, the battle for freedom and true and real democracy is far from over. Extremely far. Which is exactly why the citizens of Western countries need to start having a conversation about what they can do to ensure their freedoms and rights, while slowly unravelling the leftist dystopian nightmare that has permeated our respective countries.
I think it makes a lot of sense to first acknowledge how we got to this point in the first place, and since describing the process in it’s entirety is too lengthy for just one article, I’ll describe it with a single word, instead. Apathy. I would even go so far as to call it, negligent apathy.
As Western countries grew more and more prosperous, their citizenries became less and less interested in politics and what the elites were up to. Naturally, they were involved in raising families, growing businesses, and consuming an ever mounting pile of new and cool gadgets and trinkets. There was very little time for endless research into what the news media was telling us and so most of us just assumed it was all true.
In essence, most were happy and content, and as long as they were, they paid very little attention to what was going on in their own halls of power, much less what was going on around the world. I mean, we were all free, had opportunities, could make good livings, and had happy and eventful lives. I guess its just human nature to kind of, lean back, during a period of such growth and freedom.
Unfortunately, this turned out to be a massive mistake to which, thankfully, many of us are currently waking up. While we were all basically sleeping, the progressive leftist ideology crept silently into almost every important and culturally influential position of power. At the same time, government actors and politicians alike started realizing they could easily pull one over on a sleeping and apathetic citizenry.
This has turned out to be a crushing combination of events which has led to massive corruption amongst the highest positions in power, an out-of-control intelligence apparatus in America, and a completely skewed and biased media landscape which is definitely misinforming the public in favor of leftist ideological positions. Not to mention, an education system that has also been hijacked by leftist ideologs who mistake indoctrination for education.
In many of our countries, even the justice systems are being weaponized by the radical, leftist ideologs, and an impotent or in some cases, even non-existent right-wing seems somehow powerless to stop it from happening. I’ll be honest, the situation is pretty daunting, and in many ways, it seems like we may have all woken up too late.
Well, again, as daunting and out of reach as actual democracy might seem to many of us at the moment, just the simple fact that there are countries in the West remaining, whos citizenries have managed to rip the levers of power away from the leftist tyrants (just in time, in my opinion) through voting, proves that there are still remnants of democracy left in the system, and if our side seizes those remnants and uses them to our advantage, we might still have a chance at a peaceful and non-violent return to sanity.
Let’s assume the “best case scenario” from here on out. So Trump gets elected and unleashed, the AfD in Germany wins the election next year by a landslide, and the other Western countries also get the left out, and the right in. A wonderful dream-come-true for those of us that see our countries slipping away into totalitarianism. Then what?
Do we sit back and hope that the newly elected will somehow straighten everything back out? Even if they somehow manage that in the short terms that they have, what happens during the following election cycle? Will the people turn out on voting day in droves to ensure that good politicians remain in power, or will they, once again, just assume that the whole rest of the country is happy with the current ruling class, just because they, themselves are?
Will we actually learn from the mistakes of the past and understand that ideology will never give up and just go away? That’s the flip-side of democracy and freedom. We cannot go around jailing or killing the ideologs in a free and democratic country. Therefor, the ideology cannot be stamped out, and they have the right to exist, just as much as we do.
That means constant vigilance. It means that the battle of ideas must continue on for ever, and may the best idea win. That is the price for freedom. It means we cannot lose sight of reality, nor ignore it, no matter how much we don’t want to face it. If you haven’t caught on yet, that’s exactly how we got to where we are in the first place.
Yes, it’s going to take a constant effort from everyone to hold on to a truly free and democratic framework. However, if we want to remain free and avoid having to use violence to achieve that goal, we will have to get more involved in the political process, and start holding our elected officials accountable for corruption, failures, and lying to the tax paying public.
If we want the idea of “government by the people, for the people”, we need to start living up to that principle on a daily basis. I’m well aware that I am being quite vague here, and that many people are hoping for more of a clear-cut game plan, instead of cool sounding, yet unclear, tropes.
Well, I plan to deliver just that. I am currently writing a follow-up article to this one, in which I lay out a much more detailed game plan as to how Western citizens can avoid North Korea-like situations, stay out of them, and work towards building actual, true, free democracies in their countries. That being said, it all starts with simple principles, namely, vigilance, logic and the death of apathy.

Also, I write these articles in the hope that I make other people think about things in a possibly different way. Each person I reach with my ideas is another open minded and critically thinking human, and we need as many people on that team as possible. Therefor, I invite you, the reader, to comment, criticize, or make additions to ideas, as well as substract from them where you deem necessary. Collaboration is the only way out, and I am all for it!
So, don’t hesitate to contact me in the chat, or through the comments. I’m just some truck driver that can write well. That, by far, doesn’t mean that I have all the answers, or that I am right about everything. I’m reaching out to anyone willing to have an honest dialog.
