Telegram is no longer a trustworthy platform for private communications. Sadly, but understandably, Durov capitulated to authorities after the French government detained and threatened the billionair with very serious charges. Once again, a Western government has overstepped, ignored the legal parameters, and wielded its obvious, absolute power against a private citizen in order to extort and blackmail him into doing its bidding.
