Sounds like a win to me. Large or small, a win in a win. I've played a lot of Texas Hold-Em. Small pot, big bot made zero difference to me. Take every pot you can. Why, because the small pot may not have been that much in monetary value, except to the player who was all-in on that hand.
Yes, you only took a pot of a couple hundred buck. But now you only have 5 opponents as opposed to 6. That's a bigger win than assessing the value of the chips, stand alone.
